SHUTTERS WITH MATRIX FOIL

MATRIX ANTI SHUTTER FOIL

The task of blinds with MATRIX reflective film is to protect against excessive solar radiation and glare by the sun's rays. The foil installed in the roller shutter cassette acts as mobile anti-reflective barrier, resulting in an ideal, high-contrast view of the outside.

The construction of the Matrix foil causes additional light scattering. This ensures comfort of work in positions equipped with various types of monitors, completely eliminating glare.

Reducing the intensity of sunlight and reflections caused by it has a positive effect on reducing sight loads. This translates directly into efficiency and safety, especially in maritime navigation or aviation.

SAILING SAFETY

APPLICATION ON SHIPS

Visual observation of the environment on ships and other vessels is one of the most important elements of safer navigation. Unfortunately, the environment itself distorts the observed view. Even at low sunlight, the light reflecting off the surface of the water polarizes and blinding light reflections are created

With wheelhouse blinds we have a clear view outside even in very intense sunlight (mid-summer, noon and afternoon hours), which allows us to ensure safe navigation on ships.

AVIATION SAFETY

APPLICATION IN FLIGHT CONTROL TOWERS

Despite continuous technological advancements, direct observation still plays a significant role in ensuring safety. Air traffic control tower personnel must have the best conditions during critical moments such as take-offs and landings. Therefore, any blinding of observers or glare that hinders readings from navigational equipment monitors is unacceptable. This issue is comprehensively addressed by the use of blinds with reflective MATRIX film. This ensures complete visibility even in bright sunlight and total elimination of light reflections.

CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF MATRIX FILM WHEELHOUSE BLINDS

We provide a system with non-invasive roller blind installation. This means there is no interference with the structure of the protected window. It features a reinforced aluminum frame. 'U' type guide-bars ensure the stability of the film, even in adverse conditions during navigation. The chain length for rolling up the blind is customized to its dimensions, and the installed hook ensures its stability. This results in an easy-to-operate and aesthetically pleasing design. Installation can be done on the wall or ceiling. The system uses a robust tube with a diameter of 25 mm, ensuring that the cassette size is as compact as possible.

Roller blinds for the captain’s bridge

Roller blinds for the captain’s bridge or roller blinds for the ship’s wheelhouse are special curtains installed on the captain’s bridge of a ship or boat. They are designed to protect against sunlight and adverse weather conditions that can impede the navigation of the vessel.

Roller shutters for the wheelhouse

They also provide protection against excessive heat. Roller blinds for the captain’s bridge (wheelhouse) are typically constructed with a cassette, reflective material, and bottom fastening. Anti-glare material, such as specialized Matrix film, prevents glare and enables safe navigation even when sailing directly into the sun while maintaining visibility.
Roller blinds for the captain’s bridge are essential for those navigating ships, as they provide protection against adverse weather conditions and ensure comfortable working conditions on the captain’s bridge.

Advantages of roller blinds for the captain’s bridge

  • Control of light in the wheelhouse
  • Elimination of glare on the captain’s bridge
  • 99% protection against UV rays
  • Safety during ship navigation
  • Energy savings for air conditioning operation

Our roller blinds are designed to withstand the demanding working conditions in the ship’s wheelhouse. Our most common roller blind consists of:

  • Matrix film – a durable polyester film with exceptional reflective properties to protect against glare.
  • Durable aluminum cassette in which the Matrix film is rolled.
  • Rolling mechanism that allows for lowering and raising of the Matrix film.
  • Bottom bar for weighting and stabilizing the Matrix film.
  • Mounting kit for attaching the cassette to the ship’s structure.
  • Vertical steel cables, completely stabilizing the roller shutter film.

Anti-glare roller blinds that prevent glare are essential equipment in the wheelhouse of a ship. They provide safety and good visibility on sunny days and also protect the wheelhouse from excessive heat buildup.

Our blinds are installed on ships in Poland, Great Britain, all over Europe and the world
